Honda's brand new 60hp, new generation "wedge shape" design. Lightest in class, best perfomance in class and quietest in class. Weighing in at just 110 kgs, the completely new design incorporates electonic fuel injection, Honda's revolutionary BLAST technology which controls air/ fuel ratio and ignition timing which gives exceptional acceleration which in test in Australia was 10% quicker to 20 knots than 60hp outboards from its two major competitors. Lean burn control means fuel consumption of around 7 litres per hour, 25% less than competitors. A high performance gear case further contributes to the Honda 60's impressive performance. Along with its powerful 17amp alternator, the Honda 60 as also NMEA2000 compatible which allows the engine to communicate with onboard electronics.
